Mangal Lakshmi 2nd June 2025 Written Update: Mangal Saves Kusum, Jia Pushes Lakshmi Off a Cliff!

In today’s gripping episode of Mangal Lakshmi, tensions rise as Mangal questions Kapil about his unusual behavior. Kapil tries to cover it up by saying his mother simply wanted to know about donation places, and cleverly stops her from revealing the truth by changing the subject to Karwa Chauth. Mangal recalls her first fast, feeling nostalgic, and decides to perform the pooja and make donations herself.

At the temple, Mangal spots Saumya, who pretends to be fasting just to impress Aditi. Shocked by Mangal’s presence, Saumya slyly adds Kusum’s name to the underprivileged donation list to humiliate her publicly. Meanwhile, Kusum is invited to the temple and arrives with Pooja.

When Saumya gets a call from Adit, she lies about not eating, and in return, demands a luxurious gift, telling him to meet her at the temple by 5 PM. She is eager to show off the drama she’s planned involving Kusum and Mangal. Adit recalls how Mangal used to fast for him selflessly, never asking for anything in return.

Upon Kusum’s arrival at the temple, she's shamed by the other women for being a widow participating in the pooja. As they push her away, Adit and Saumya witness the chaos. Just then, Mangal arrives in time and saves Kusum from being hit by a car. Kusum faints, and Mangal stands up against the injustice, defending her with strength and dignity.

Meanwhile, Lakshmi is in grave danger. Jia pushes her into a pit and leaves her to die. When Jia is called home for a doctor’s checkup, she seals the pit and flees. Kartik senses something is wrong and prays to reach Lakshmi in time.

Gayatri tries to delay Jia’s checkup to avoid any exposure. Lakshmi escapes and calls Kartik, but her phone dies before she can confirm he heard her. Jia is eventually found missing from her room. Gayatri confesses to Jia her fear of being exposed, but Jia reassures her that Lakshmi must already be dead.

Kartik gets Lakshmi’s call and heads to Sunset Point to find her, but is delayed by a staged road incident—Jia’s plan to trap him. While Lakshmi waits anxiously, a masked attacker appears and crushes the pen drive she was carrying as evidence. Lakshmi identifies the attacker—it’s Saumya, disguised as Gayatri. Saumya plans to kill Lakshmi and frame Gayatri.

In a shocking twist, Jia pushes Lakshmi off a cliff just as Kartik arrives.
