Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 29th July 2025 Written Episode Update: Will Maira Accept Abhira's Love or Return to Armaan and Geetanjali?

The episode begins with Armaan hesitating to call Maira, haunted by Abhira’s words that Maira is now solely her daughter. He fears disrupting the bond Abhira is trying to rebuild. Meanwhile, Kaveri and Vidya return to their old home, surprised to see Abhira has managed all responsibilities — from packing orders to ordering groceries. Vidya taunts Kaveri to fulfill her own duties, while Kaveri admits that she once stopped Armaan from telling Pookie’s truth, regretting that decision now.

At Geetanjali’s home, emotions run high. Armaan apologizes, but Geetanjali lashes out, accusing him of not loving her enough. She expresses that in love, there is no right or wrong. Abhira, now settled with Pookie (Maira), insists they belong there and doesn’t want to keep Maira away from her grandmother. But Maira is upset and demands her favorite nightdress that’s still in Mount Abu with Armaan. She sleeps angrily, feeling disconnected.

Armaan’s grandfather, Daddu, tries to console him, saying that although Armaan is in pain, Geetanjali’s heartbreak is equally deep. He takes Armaan to Geetanjali’s home and shows him how lovingly she has preserved Maira’s memories. He fears for Geetanjali’s mental state and pleads with Armaan to support her. Moved, Armaan promises not to let Geetanjali feel abandoned.

Meanwhile, Abhira struggles as Maira remains unhappy. Vidya comforts her, but Abhira doubts herself as a mother. She fears that Armaan was right—that she isn’t capable of being a good mother. Vidya reminds her that a mother’s love heals all wounds.

Abhira also manages her professional duties by ensuring Anshuman stays hydrated and focused on their business so she can dedicate her time to Maira. Hearing Maira cry, Abhira rushes to her, sings a lullaby, and comforts her — both breaking down in tears.

Elsewhere, Geetanjali is firm in her belief that Maira will come back. Armaan urges her to accept the truth — that Maira is with her real mother now. Geetanjali refuses, insisting she has more right over Maira as the one who raised her.

Later, Maira tearfully confesses she misses Armaan and Geetanjali. She insists on hearing a bedtime story from Armaan. Abhira obliges and calls Armaan. He speaks to Maira lovingly and encourages her to bond with Abhira, but she insists she will only be happy with him and Geetanjali. Geetanjali tries to step in but is stopped. Armaan, frustrated, hangs up, vowing not to come between them. But Geetanjali declares that Maira will never be happy with Abhira. This enrages Armaan, who now pledges to help Abhira win Maira’s love — because she deserves it.
