As the story progresses in Star Plus’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, emotional twists and dramatic turns continue to unfold. In today’s episode, Abhira brings Mayra home, and Dadi Sa is seen apologizing in front of everyone. However, the emotional tension escalates soon after.

The episode begins with Mayra meeting all the family members. Despite being warmly welcomed, she misses Geetu and Armaan. When Abhira tells Mayra that her father takes after Dadi Sa, the remark unintentionally hurts Dadi Sa deeply. Meanwhile, Geetanjali is overwhelmed with emotion, remembering how she raised Mayra since she was three. Though Dadu tries to console her, Geetanjali refuses to listen. When Mayra begins coughing, Abhira offers her water, but she refuses to accept it.

Abhira Battles Doubts and Emotional Pain

Armaan reflects on Mayra being with her mother and how Abhira has suffered for seven years. Abhira thanks Anshuman for helping her reach her daughter and shares how only he made it possible. Anshuman, in a light-hearted moment, asks her to make aloo paratha to celebrate. They share a warm exchange, but Abhira worries that her actions might have hurt Mayra. Dadi Sa tries to speak with Abhira but is ignored. She then tells Anshuman that everything they did was for Abhira’s good. Anshuman supports Abhira, saying her pain was greater.

Kajal expresses sadness about being separated from her daughter Mayra. She says Abhira got her daughter back, while she didn’t. Kajal vows to spend time with Pukki to make up for what she missed with Charu. Krish accuses Kajal of forgetting Charu too quickly, leading to a heated exchange. Abhira brings noodles for Mayra, but Dadi Sa interrupts and unexpectedly apologizes to Abhira in front of everyone. During their emotional conversation, Dadi Sa calls Abhira “beta,” but Abhira rejects the gesture, saying blood ties matter more to Dadi Sa, who always supported Armaan over her. Realizing her mistake, Dadi Sa leaves the house. Vidya runs after her. Manisha comments that though Abhira has gained a lot, she’s also lost something in the process.

Mayra hides under a blanket in her room. Abhira asks for permission to enter and comforts Mayra, acknowledging she misses Geetu. She urges Mayra to eat something, and Mayra finally eats noodles. Abhira explains Armaan took her away, which is why they were separated. Mayra responds, saying children belong with their parents and assumes her father doesn’t even miss her. Abhira, heartbroken, realizes Mayra still doesn’t see her as a mother and is only here because Armaan told her to.
