Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 1st August 2025 Written Episode Update: Kiara Rejects Abhir’s Apology, Geetanjali Takes Maira Away, and Armaan Promises to Bring Her Back

The episode begins with Krish threatening Armaan to return the money he owes. Armaan admits it was all a strategy to win back the Poddar house, but now he has failed. He urges Krish to value family before it’s too late.

At the Goenka house, Anshuman welcomes Tanya back, supported by Kaveri and Vidya. He believes that after marriage, a bride should return to her husband’s house. Tanya, however, is visibly stressed—Krish is absent, and she lies to Anshuman about his whereabouts to avoid conflict.

Meanwhile, Abhira is tormented with guilt for not being able to feed Maira. She tries to call Geetanjali but discovers she is already in Udaipur. Abhira is surprised, but Geetanjali firmly says she came out of motherly love. Abhira attempts to defend herself, saying she only called for a recipe, but Geetanjali scolds her for not considering them before taking Maira.

Abhira hands her a handwritten recipe, showing she’s making an effort. Geetanjali is not convinced, yet Abhira insists that Maira’s pain is more important than anyone’s anger.

Elsewhere, Tanya confides in Kiara about lying to Anshuman and how the upcoming Sawan Milni has her worried. Abhir approaches Kiara and apologizes, but Kiara coldly refuses to accept it. She reminds him of how he mocked her feelings, something she can’t forgive.

Abhira, still emotionally torn, asks if bringing back the old Krish would heal anything. While preparing food for Maira despite her burnt hand, Kaveri notices the recipe belongs to Geetanjali. Abhira challenges that Maira will only eat food made by her.

Maira is drawn by the familiar aroma of Geetanjali’s khichdi and eagerly asks for her. When Geetanjali appears, Maira runs and hugs her. Abhira hides her pain and asks Geetanjali to feed Maira and take her back to Mount Abu.

Maira asks about Armaan, and Geetanjali lies, saying he’s in Mount Abu preparing for her arrival. Vidya tries to stop her from leaving with Maira, but Abhira intervenes, saying she can’t bear to see her daughter cry. Before leaving, Maira tells Abhira that she is a good person, but her mother will always be Geetu.

Vidya encourages Abhira not to give up the fight—she’s waited seven years. Armaan arrives just as Maira leaves and is devastated to learn Geetanjali has taken her.
