Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 17th June 2025 Written Update: Armaan Calls Abhira After 7 Years, Maira Battles for Life

The episode begins with Abhira in shock after learning that Armaan was present at the cultural fair. Her emotions spiral as she questions how he looked—whether he seemed healthy or had lost weight. Overwhelmed, she breaks down emotionally. Kaveri coldly declares that Armaan has moved on and no longer cares for Abhira, urging her to sign the divorce papers and free herself.

However, Vidya refuses to let this injustice continue. She recalls how Kaveri destroyed Madhav and Shivani's relationship and now wants to do the same to Abhira. Still, Kaveri remains unmoved.

Meanwhile, at the hospital, Maira and Geetanjali are fighting for their lives. Armaan is inconsolable in Daduu’s arms, blaming himself for Maira’s condition. He breaks down, feeling like he failed her. Daduu consoles him, urging him to keep faith.

Back with Abhira, she laments that Armaan didn’t even try to meet her. For seven years, she held onto hope, waiting for a sign. Not once did he call. Her pain boils over into anger as she declares that their love lost to Armaan’s ego.

Vidya tries to calm her, reminding her to think of Maira, but Abhira senses something terrible is happening. Her restlessness grows stronger.

In the hospital, doctors tell Armaan that Maira’s condition is critical. Armaan is shattered. At his breaking point, he borrows a phone and calls Abhira. Recognizing his voice after seven long years, Abhira breaks into tears. Before Armaan can speak his heart, Daduu interrupts, and the call ends. Abhira tries calling back and discovers that Armaan is in Mount Abu.

Later, Maira regains consciousness but refuses an injection. In a private moment, she opens up to Armaan, questioning why Geetanjali can’t be her mother. She mourns the lack of a maternal figure and admires Geetanjali’s sacrifice for her.
