Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 17th July 2025 Written Update: Abhira Scolds Mayra, Kiara Learns Charu's Truth, Will Anshuman Expose Puki?

The episode begins with Geetanjali searching for Mayra, while Daadi Sa removes the blindfold from Abhira’s eyes. Suddenly, Mayra appears disguised as Puki, surprising everyone. Geetanjali questions her outfit, but Mayra replies that she's playing the role of "Cute Aunty’s daughter" today. Abhira becomes emotional seeing her.

Mayra tells Abhira she came to make her happy on her special day, knowing how much she missed Puki. But Abhira gets stern, struggling internally—thinking that hugging Mayra would be a betrayal to Geetanjali and Anshuman. She refuses Mayra’s hug and tells her to return to her real parents, as she isn’t her family.

Mayra, hurt by Abhira’s words, says she only wanted to bring happiness and no one had ever scolded her so harshly. She runs away, devastated. Armaan scolds Mayra and asks her to apologize to Abhira for using her things without permission. Abhira snaps back at Armaan for shouting. Geetanjali calms the situation and takes Mayra away. Kiara, meanwhile, follows Abhir and questions him about Charu. He avoids answering even when she swears on Charu’s name.

Charu’s Truth Revealed to Kiara

Kiara continues to follow Abhir to Poddar House. There, she sees him performing rituals and notices Charu’s photo, yelling out her name. Abhir then reveals Charu had cancer and wanted to attend his wedding. Sadly, she passed away before that. Kiara insists the family deserves to know, but Abhir says Charu’s last wish was that he complete his marriage first, and only then reveal the truth.

Elsewhere, Armaan tries to console Mayra, explaining Abhira's intentions were good. Mayra resists but is finally persuaded by Armaan to apologize to Abhira. Anshuman gives Abhira a handkerchief, asking her not to hide her pain behind a fake smile. Abhira says she no longer wants to cry for Puki.

Anshuman explains Mayra is just a child and her words shouldn’t be taken to heart, but Abhira confesses she feels broken inside. She realizes that Puki doesn't want to return to her, and that truth is hard to accept.

Meanwhile, Chacha tries to manipulate Krish by playing recorded conversations against Armaan, hoping to turn him against the Poddar family. But Krish doesn't react and says he’ll handle everything himself.

Abhira requests the police to close Puki’s case. Daadi Sa and Vidya overhear her and grow emotional while looking at Puki’s picture, reminiscing about the time she came into their lives.
