In today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (14th May 2025), Arman surprises everyone by hiring a caretaker for baby Pookie, leaving Abhira stunned. The caretaker introduces herself as a professional with seven years of childcare experience. Abhira confronts Arman for making such an important decision without consulting her. Arman defends his action, stating he only wanted to ease her stress. However, Abhira insists on handling things herself and asks the caretaker to leave.

A heated argument follows between Arman and Abhira. She accuses him of not trusting her parenting skills and placing more faith in a stranger. Arman maintains he was only trying to help, but Abhira feels belittled. She tells him to go to work and assures him that she can manage Pookie on her own.

Vidya tries to calm things down by reminding Abhira of Arman’s good intentions, but Abhira leaves the house upset. Kajal stands by Arman, while Manisha sides with Abhira. Kaveri scolds Vidya and warns her not to interfere in Arman and Abhira’s relationship. Later, Abhira tries to talk to Arman again, but he ignores her and leaves for the office. She tells baby Pookie not to be upset and that everything will be okay.

Ruhi, Swarna, Surekha, and Manish visit Abhira, noticing the tension between the couple. Ruhi encourages Abhira to stand strong and not give in. As Abhira spends time with Pookie, the baby plays with her earrings. Soon, Pookie develops a fever, sending Abhira into a panic. Manisha, Kajal, Charu, and Kiara step in to support her.

When Arman hears about Pookie’s fever, he blames Abhira for not being able to care for the baby alone. He decides to take Pookie to Ruhi, believing the baby may miss her surrogate mother. Abhira is left devastated by his words.

Kaveri intervenes and slaps Arman for questioning Abhira's abilities. She defends Abhira, stating that even Ruhi had enough sense to step back and let the mother-child bond grow. She scolds Arman for his insensitivity and questions his right to judge Abhira as a mother.

The episode concludes with Abhira feeling helpless as Pookie’s fever persists. She fears Arman's judgment once again. When Arman tells her that he only wants the best for Pookie, Abhira tearfully responds that he always puts the baby first while ignoring her pain. Kaveri advises Abhira to leave Arman, suggesting that only then will he understand her value.
