Udne Ki Aasha – Written Episode Update, 22nd May 2025

The episode begins with Syali worrying about Sachin, who has been missing since morning. She tells everyone he was upset about not being able to gift Savitri a chain for her birthday. Tejas overhears this and seems to come up with an idea of his own.

🎁 Saree Drama & Emotional Tensions

At the celebration, Riya’s mother gifts a saree to Savitri, but Savitri politely refuses, saying it’s not her style. However, when Syali’s mother presents a saree in her favorite color, Savitri accepts it. Renuka gets annoyed by this and tries to reassure Riya’s mother. When Riya's mother offers to take Savitri shopping, Savitri gently reminds her that the thought behind a gift is more valuable than its price.

Riya also sends a cake for the celebration. But as Akash asks Savitri to cut it, she refuses, saying she won’t do it without Sachin. Renuka slyly suggests that Sachin might be drunk. Just then, Sachin calls and asks everyone to come outside.

🎉 Sachin’s Grand Surprise

As the family gathers outside, Sachin is nowhere to be seen. Syali receives a voice note instructing Savitri to stand in a marked circle. Suddenly, Sachin appears, having decorated his car with balloons and flowers. He showers petals over Savitri, leaving everyone stunned.

The real surprise follows: Sachin brings Savitri’s childhood friends to the celebration. Overcome with emotion, she embraces them, and the group sings and dances joyfully. Even at home, the friends lighten the mood by treating Paresh like a child and praising Sachin's thoughtful efforts.

Syali, however, is upset that Sachin didn’t include her in the plan. He admits he feared she might spoil the surprise. Meanwhile, the friends jokingly comment on Renuka’s weight gain.

💥 Tejas, the Gold Chain, and Brewing Jealousy

Tejas returns, unnoticed by most, and gives Savitri a Navratan gold chain—something Sachin had originally wanted to gift. Sachin is taken aback and feels betrayed. Tejas teases him, claiming this gesture will win him points.

As Savitri finally cuts the cake, Roshini becomes annoyed with Tejas for keeping the gift a secret from her. Renuka is jealous when Savitri’s friends hand envelopes to Sachin, thanking him for making the birthday unforgettable.

Feeling sidelined, Tejas’s mood sours. Roshini consoles him, saying they still have a chance to outshine others. Just as the friends are about to leave, Syali requests them to stay.

🎬 Syali’s Heartfelt Gesture

Despite Renuka’s taunts, Syali invites everyone to the terrace where she’s arranged a projector. She plays a touching video that traces Savitri’s life journey. Riya also makes a surprise appearance, which shocks her mother, who thought she was focused on her career.
