Doree 2 – 16 May 2025 Written Update: Kailashi Devi’s Truth Sparks Shock and Suspicion

The episode begins with Dadi believing that Maan, Meera, and Doree have perished. However, Kailashi Devi dramatically brings all three out of the fire on a four-wheeled cart. Rajnandini is baffled and questions why Kailashi Devi saved the very people she promised to eliminate. Kailashi Devi hands the trio over to the Thakur family and departs without explanation.

Maan talks to an unconscious Meera, expressing how much he missed her. When Meera wakes up, she frantically begins searching for her son, Chikoo. Maan reveals that he is Chikoo, but Meera refuses to believe him and continues to search. A doctor arrives to calm Meera down and sedates her. He later informs the Thakur family that Meera lost her memory in the fire fifteen years ago. He advises them not to pressure her to remember anything but instead surround her with familiar people and objects to help her memory return gradually. The family agrees to follow the doctor's advice.

That night, Maan sleeps beside Doree and dreams about his mother. Doree notices and wakes him up, asking if Meera is his mother. Maan confirms and apologises for not trusting Doree earlier. He promises to help rescue her father, Ganga Prasad, from jail, just as she helped reunite him with Meera. He vows to seek justice for her family. Doree asks if he was the one who rescued her from the fire, but Maan says a Good Samaritan helped and assures her she’ll soon find out who it was.

Suddenly, the sound of a sacred conch echoes through the house. Maan, Doree, and the Thakur family gather at the Pooja Mandir, where Kailashi Devi is seen performing the aarti. Doree is shocked to see her.

Maan introduces Kailashi Devi to Doree, mentioning that he heard about her from his mother and that she used to run a saree business. He assumes Doree might know her. Kailashi Devi pretends not to recognise Doree and gives her a blessing.

Doree, however, confronts her, asking her to stop pretending. She reveals to Maan that Kailashi Devi is a snake in disguise and was the one who destroyed her childhood. Doree declares that she is Kailashi Devi’s granddaughter. Kailashi Devi tries to hug her, acting emotional, but Doree pushes her away.

Maan questions Doree’s harsh words, but Kailashi Devi interrupts and tells him not to blame her. She explains that she had a twin sister named Rukmani who looked exactly like her and committed terrible acts using her name. According to Kailashi Devi, Rukmani was the one who was jailed and ruined Doree’s life. She asks Doree to consider whether she would have saved Meera and Doree if she were truly guilty.

Doree refuses to believe her and demands that she leave. Kailashi Devi tells Maan she will leave as her presence might cause problems in his married life. Pretending to walk away, she is suddenly stopped by Meera.
